Am I the only one who thinks that’s a major cop-out? By all means, promote your band on MySpace, but give us just a little more than that. You’re a great band! Act like you (and we) deserve more than MySpace!
10/10!!
its so lazy and unproffessional
Im looking into starting a new website selling local bands merch and other local group items. Also on this website, i want them to be able to make their own profiles and post some of their work and help get them recognized more and a list of all the local shows and conerts around. the only thing is, i have no idea where to start. tried looking at some php and other scripts, but the only thing i can find is something to make it look like ebay or something.
Anyone have ideas for me.
Thanks
Jesse,
First you have two obvious choices, free or not.
I suggest not. A free site will never get the traffic you are looking for. Besides its so cheap to get a real professional website. How cheap?
About $40. a year.
I left a link below to four great hosts with great pricing. The other good news is the host provides everything you need to create your site.
They give you a free domain name, unlimited space, UL transfre, UL sub domains, UL emails, autoresponder, newsletter center as well as the best programs to create your site.
You dont have to be a tech expert either. Im going to suggest Wordpress as your site creator. You choose one of thousands of themes, and plugin your posts. Your visitors have the ability to respond to your posts as you see fit. You can also put music on a password protected sub domain, so you can control who downloads what.
These hosts have great support, so you can ask a question any time by chat and get an answer.
The most important thing is to get started. Make the decision, get your host, get your domain name and start working on your page.
If i can do it, you can too.
Good Luck
So I got my ION drums and I wanted to make a video where I do a picture-in-picture view, as a lot of people have been requesting that I do future videos like this.
Yes, I do play real drums, and have for 9 years in all different types of metal.
The blasts in this song are MUCH easier with the ION, thanks to it’s great rebound.
YouTube screwed my sync up on this video which I spent about 30 mins trying to get perfect, so I don’t know how to fix it without reuploadiding, so this will have to do.

I thought it was emily… something.
Are there any others?!
